After a 1-year hiatus, Samsung’s Galaxy FE line made its triumphant return late last year in hopes of reclaiming its spot as one of the top mid-range Android handsets on the market. The S23 FE makes a pretty good case, too, as it features a bright 6.4-inch display, solid processing power, a triple lens rear camera system, and all-day battery life.
The $600 price tag, though, muddies the water a bit, as it flies a little too close to the oft-discounted S23 model. It’s more of a mini-flagship than a mid-range, and while it’s a solid phone, we like it a lot better if you can get it on sale. It’s only a $40 savings on a $600 phone, but again, the savings are instant and hassle-free. If you are after even bigger savings, and don’t mind jumping through a few hoops, all three major US carriers will give you the handset for free (or close to it) for meeting plan and device conditions. Verizon is even willing to throw in a free 65″ 4K TV to sweeten the deal (seriously).

Samsung has a few ways to save on the unlocked Galaxy S23 FE. If you have a device to trade in, you can get up to $525 instant trade-in credit depending on the model and condition, and then you can get an extra $32 off if your job qualifies for Samsung’s Offer Programs (first responders, educators, military, etc.).
Best Buy
Best Buy is not currently offering any discounts on the S23 FE. If you must buy here, there are discounted open box models to choose from, and the retailer will give you a free 1-month membership to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and $50 off Galaxy Buds, with purchase. So that’s something, right?

AT&T’s current Galaxy FE promotion lets you score the handset for just $11 per month with a qualifying plan. No trade-in required. The discount is distributed over 36 months. Purchasing this phone also qualifies you for 50% off Samsung accessories through the online AT&T store, so there are a few ways to save here.
Verizon
Free w/ new line activation
Verizon will give you an S23 FE for free when you activate a new smartphone line on a compatible unlimited plan. Just keep in mind that it’s not free upfront — it becomes free with bill credits issued over 36 months. New customers may also qualify for a free 65″ Amazon Fire Omnia 4K TV.
T-Mobile
Free w/ eligible trade-in and plan
T-Mobile has a few different promotions going on for the Galaxy S23 FE. Customers who trade in an eligible device on a Go5G plan can get the handset for free, and if you’re on a Magenta rate plan, you can still get up to $500 off for your trade.
